I’ve been doing a lot of online research lately and I though I would share some neat things as well as sources I use frequently. Hopefully you find this interesting and/or resourceful. Enjoy!
1. The Power of Social Media

We all know the twitter blunder of the American Red Cross from last year and how it was quickly it was diffused to possibly be considered a marketing success story. None the less, it is one of my favorite examples of how yes, social media marketing has certain risks, but with careful planning and quick reactions, it’s not as scary as many think.
2. Unique Retail Concepts

In addition to getting DDI Magazine, I frequent DDI Online and today they featured this amazing store concept on the home page. Tokkad is located in Quebec City. DDI Online is a great place to check for new retail concepts and ideas. Click here, or the image above to see more from Tokkad.
3. Exhibit Design

I <3 the art of exhibit design, and so does Exhibitor Magazine. Check out their great website, or pick up a copy of their magazine. Exhibitor Magazine recently celebrated their 30th anniversary and released this fabulous article featuring memorable exhibit elements, each with a “takeaway” to help your current exhibiting strategies. There’s nothing like looking at the past to learn how to shape the future.
4. The Beauty Of Packaging

LOVE the DieLine. I received Box Bottle Bag from a colleague for Christmas and read it from front to back. I still flip through it when I need inspiration. There’s something about three dimensional design that I find inspiring. The DieLine also has a great website. My favorite sections to browse are “Before & After” and “Student Spotlight“
